V. to buffet): τινα, Matthew 26:67; Mark 14:65; as a specific term for a general, equivalent to to maltreat, treat with violence and contumely, 2 Corinthians 12:7; present passive, 1 Corinthians 4:11; 1 Peter 2:20.
